place to call home. Locals appreciate fun community events such as Arbor Day (tree planting, crafts, park games, and an
art contest), the 4th of July Parade and Pancake Festival, Holiday Celebrations, and Chili Fest. Superior is known for its
parks and trails, some of the most popular comprising Community Park, Purple Park, and Davidson Mesa Open Space.
The Sport Stable is also a fantastic place to have fun while being active. The Superior Marketplace is convenient for residents
with both a Target and Costco, along with smaller shops and restaurants. If you’re searching for a place to eat, look no farther
than Wayne’s Smoke Shack with delicious barbeque, and the even more delicious peach cobbler. Doug’s Day Diner is a
local favorite for breakfast and brunch; if you go be sure to order a biscuit with homemade peach jam! Superior has a
population of about 13,000 and is located near Boulder, Louisville, and Broomfield. The schools are good,
with the highest ranking going to Superior Elementary School.
