All in all, Loveland holds 3 golf courses, 28 open spaces covering 5,000 acres, 31 city parks, and 17 ½ miles of trails. There are countless eating options, ranging from the Arte Pizzeria, a delicious New York pizza experience, to Dougs, a breakfast diner with tasty homemade biscuits and jam. Historic Downtown Loveland is a great place to spend the afternoon with art galleries, the Rialto Theater, restaurants, and a variety of unique local shops. Other shopping options include The Outlets at Loveland and The Promenade Shops at Centerra. Loveland has good schools; Big Thompson Elementary School has a rating of 9 on Great Schools. Loveland is located north of Denver and near Fort Collins and has a population of around 77,000.
