Issues with the swoop

I stopped by this afternoon to check on things and was surprised to see Kyle (our architect) show up. I had been looking at the framing for the swoop detail of the roof last night and was curious as to how the framers were going to put it all together. Apparently so were they. Somehow the roof lines weren't matching up to the plans. That's Kyle looking at the plans and Izzy the lead framer looking down. The other picture is Izzy on the roof measuring the height. Everything seems to be the right height so no one really knows what the swoop isn't lining up with the roof over the office. In the end Kyle they decided that actually raising the ceiling of the office by a foot was the solution. That is actually a plus because the office will gain 10' ceilings and the copper roof over the bay window will look better.
