Framing about done, plumbing, HVAC and elec is progress

The framing is just about complete. The plumbers have a lot of the rough plumbing in, but need furnaces in places, etc. before they can finish up the gas line. The HVAC duct work for the main and basement is in place, but not the upstairs. Before the put in the upstairs they need to locate where the furnace goes in the attic, but that is dependent on the attic access door. Where we had planned to put the attic access would open up to a window, and the window isn’t tempered glass so it can’t go there. Also, before they put the furnace in they need the roof on. But the roofers don’t like to put the roof on until the fascia board is up which will take about a week. We also met with the electrician and they will get started later this week and expect to take about three weeks. We found a great deal on light fixtures at Lowes on Saturday—about 80% off on clearance and they were the same light fixtures we had planned on buying anyway. Now instead of can lights or cheap flush mount fixtures in many areas we now have hanging lights.

Working on revised bids for stone, drywall, and an update on the plumbing bid.
