Roof trusses almost done

Framers continue to work. Roof is going up now.  There is a broken truss in the dining room so that will need to be repaired.  There is also a truss that juts out into the upstairs hallway at 8’ tall, but the rest are 9’ tall.  Need to figure out if we drop the ceiling their or it can be adjusted.

Still contemplating the rearranging of the upstairs bath/closet (at the front of the house). The redesign is necessary to accommodate a 4’ landing at the top of the stairs. But moving it around made the vanity only 30” which is pretty narrow.

I’m also working with kitchen companies to get bids on kitchen cabinets.  I’ve also decided to stay with the Frigidaire All refrigerator/All freezer.  It’s gotten very good reviews from the kitchen folks I have talked to, and with the $7,000 savings we can afford to put in the best cabinets (inset doors add about 20% and painted cabinets add about 20%), double dishwashers, etc.
