Pearl Street Mall
Boulder's Pearl Street Mall, the city's original downtown, is the heart and soul of the city. A four-block, open-air walkway has been converted for pedestrians to enjoy the shops, art shows, music and street performers. It is lined with historic buildings that house numerous shops, galleries, microbreweries and more. Bongo the Balloon Man can make you an animal creation out of his balloons or the Zip Code Man can tell your hometown if you give him your zip code. There is always something to do at the Pearl Street Mall.

Boulder Creek Path Length: 7 miles one way

Estimated Time: 1 hour Location: Downtown Boulder The Boulder Creek Path stretches seven miles from east Boulder, near Valmont Reservoir, to the western end of town where Boulder Canyon and Fourmile Canyon intersect. This trail parallels Boulder creek as it runs east through the heart of Boulder and out into the plains. The trail, dirt and gravel for its upper few miles, is paved from the base of Boulder Canyon until its end at 55th Street. The path is very popular with bicyclists, rollerbladers, joggers and walkers, and the occasional kayaker hiking his boat up to the kayak course, so don't expect much solitude. You should expect a beautiful ride along scenic Boulder creek, with many benches and parks where you can stop and rest or have a nice picnic.

Rocky Mountain National Park
Covering over four hundred fifteen square miles of rugged mountain wilderness, Rocky Mountain National Park is truly one of Nature's special places. At least 60 mountains in Rocky exceed 12,000 feet, topping off at 14,255 feet on the football field-sized summit of Longs Peak.
