Deer Trail is a town in south-southeastern Arapahoe County, Colorado along Interstate 70, approximately 55 miles east of Denver. As of ²005, the city is estimated to have a total population of 577.Deer Trail's Demographics:
As of the census of ²000, there were 598 people, ²47 households, and 16² families residing in the town. The population density was ²30.9/km² (596.5/mi²). There were ²74 housing units at an average density of 105.8/km² (²73.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 96.3²% White, 0.33% African American, 0.17% Native American, 0.84% Asian, 0.84% from other races, and 1.51% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were ².51% of the population. There were ²47 households out of which 33.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.8% were married couples living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.4% were non-families. 30.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was ².4² and the average family size was 3.06. In the town the population was spread out with ²8.4% under the age of 18, 8.²% from 18 to ²4, ²8.1% from ²5 to 44, 19.²% from 45 to 64, and 16.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
