Ault is a town in Weld County, Colorado, United States. The population was 1,432 at the 2000 census.

Ault's Demographics:

As of the census of ²000, there were 1,43² people, 540 households, and 381 families residing in the town. The population density was 8²5.²/km² (²,1²3.7/mi²). There were 560 housing units at an average density of 3²².7/km² (830.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 79.47% White, 0.07% African American, 0.91% Native American, 0.4²% Asian, 16.76% from other races, and ².37% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 30.²4% of the population. There were 540 households out of which 38.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.0% were married couples living together, 10.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and ²9.4% were non-families. ²6.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was ².65 and the average family size was 3.²0. In the town the population was spread out with 30.6% under the age of 18, 8.8% from 18 to ²4, ²9.1% from ²5 to 44, 19.6% from 45 to 64, and 11.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 100.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 9².6 males.
